Tips for driving practical test

Driving a car has always been a good experience for those who want more flexibility while traveling.

Driving is a fun as well a great responsibility and any kind of short cuts can lead to accidents.

Any person that requires a driving license has to pass Driving test and then go for Driving practical test in order to be able to drive on the roads.

Driving practical test can be a truly unforgettable experience. Almost all the drivers on the road remember their day of driving practical test.

Even confident learners get nervous while appearing for the Practical test. Many people can pass their driving theory test but get nervous while appearing for the practical driving test

To pass a driving practical test, drivers must be aware of basic things such as Highway Code, traffic rules, manoeuvres etc.

During the dsa practical test you should be aware of these general but important *practical driving test tips

1. When ever you get in the car remember to wear your seat belt.
2. Whenever you are riding a motorbike remember to wear helmet. Learner rider must wear the helmet while taking the motorbike practical test.
3. Always remember to look both ways, AND behind you when pulling out. TURN your head to look behind you - don't just rely on the mirror.
4. Always adjust your mirrors before starting the car.
5. Always apply break smoothly. Remember to come to a complete stop at stop signs.
6. Always follow the traffic signals, Highway codes.
7. Maintain a reasonable distance space between the vehicles surrounding you.
8. Take your time parallel parking.
9. Make sure you know how to park on a hill.
10. You may need to know how to work the following parking brakes, headlights, wipers, heater, parking lights, high beams, and other Instruments. In other words, just familiarize yourself with the entire interior of the vehicle.
11. Check your tyres regularly and keep at recommended pressure.
12. Never exceed speed limits, accelerate gently.
13. During the test, always follow the examiner's instructions. If you don't understand something, ASK. It's better to ask than to mess up because you're not clear about something.
Apart from these things people should be aware of the *practical test* will include an eyesight check (if you fail this, your test will not continue). The eyesight test requires you to read a number plate that is a certain distance away. After the eyesight test you will be asked two vehicle safety check questions. You will then be examined on your general driving and on two reversing exercises. The reversing exercises will be chosen from:

- Reversing around a corner
- Turning in the road
- Reverse parking
You may also be asked to carry out an emergency stop exercise.

You will then start your car practical driving test which will include some specific driving Manoeuvres

Throughout the practical test examiner will be looking for the overall safe standard of driving, You can make up to 15 driving faults and still pass the test (16 or more results in failure). However, if you commit one serious or dangerous fault you will fail the practical test*. *And the time given to the learner drivers is about 40 minutes.

If you prepare well for DSA theory test, you are generally aware about rules regulations of the road, all you need is a professional advice and more practice.
